Great start, ORF! We beat Sparkle 15-8, even after losing Ann and Alex at the game's scheduled end time and agreeing to Sparkle's request to continue playing 5/2. 

We were missing a number of our players, but they were as well.  They didn't have any of their women show up and ended up using subs to play savage.  For guys, they were missing Will and Sam. 

Early in the game an outburst by Tim Kremer (big surprise) set the tone, although the rest of the game wasn't too bad; a few travel calls and in vs. out questioning.  We were fairly effective at running their cup ragged by using the whole width of the field when they zoned us.

They started the game with a cheer of "Four out of five", referring to the number of wins against us (although we had played each other six times).  Sunday's win tilts the ratio further toward us and I'm looking forward to playing them in the playoffs to add another to our side of the equation. 

Ali earned MVP honors for her performance during her one and only fall league game this season.
