Nice start, ORF! We beat BORF 15-4 to kick off our 2007 season. Like last year, they were missing some of their better players, so I'm sure it'll be more of a challenge should we meet them again.

As always it was a fun game. On-field and sideline heckling from both teams always makes for laughs. Our newest members, Ali, Kate, and Dan, made us proud; either throwing or scoring what seemed like the majority of our points. Mr. Fieberg once again treated us to his lefty hammer, and Muffin "got tall" a few times and came down with a disc I swore was overthrown.

Al found himself dazed and confused as he was discovered hugging Ali (after reportedly head butting her) in the front corner of the end zone while his unguarded man caught a hammer in the back, opposite corner of the end zone. That was, however, only one of a few points that they scored, as we marched the disc around the field seemingly at will.

Muffin was voted runner-up MVP, and the newcomer, Ali, found herself with MVP honors for being here, there, and everywhere she was needed.

The skirt didn't make any rounds in this game because once again Al forgot to bring it. He has now located it, so we expect to see some skirt-worthy plays tomorrow!
