GORF!

We added another victory to our record by beating Sex Panther 15-10.  The weather seemed like it was going to cooperate, being that the rain stopped just as our game started. 

The first half we seemed complacent and uninterested in the game.  We traded points, but let them take it to half.  Singing "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling" during halftime, followed by "Danger Zone" for our cheer, really helped get everyone fired up…or at least smiling and appearing to have fun. 

As expected, along with our new spirit came better play.  We kept them to two points in the second half.  Unfortunately for Sex Panther, Jill O. injured her knee early in the second half and sat out the remainder of the game.  Alex was the first to wear the skirt this season with a nice layout D.

The rain returned during the second half, leading to an expeditious exit from the fields, which is why we voted for MVP via email this week.  The result of that vote was Mrs. Kangaberg barely edging out He-Man for the most valuable player of the game.
