MVP: Dan

Once again Sparkle prevailed over ORF, beating us 15-10, but it's no reason to get bent out of shape.  First, they had a handful of subs who weren't on their roster, and second, this was merely a regular season game.  We'll see them in the playoffs if another team doesn't get to 'em first!

We were missing seven players, which left our women playing savage until we invited Anna to sub for us.  Many thanks to Anna for giving our ladies a break.  What led to our demise were turnovers near our end zone.  We had two within the first two minutes of the game, which put us in catch-up mode right off the bat.  Fewer costly turns and more players on the sideline would've made for a completely different game.

The lack of subs made for a tiresome game.  It was a real wake-up call when we nearly dished up a Callahan to Corradi.  On the other hand, DOB, who played nearly every point, scored our first point by laying out for a Fieberg toss.  Fieberg then returned the favor by making a nice layout D in our end zone to prevent a score.  Adro put up some nice long throws despite Sparkle trying to mark him straight up.  Also, our women showed great stamina, rarely getting a break.

Runner-up MVP went to Heather on her first game of the season, while DOB, yet another newcomer, took MVP honors.
