We were able to continue counting our opponent's score on one hand this week by smoking the Pixies 15 - 3. A few of the points were very long... longer than they should've been, but overall we played great (including those who came straight from running their butts off at Sectionals). Our defense proved to be very effective, to the point where even some of the Pixies commented.

As usual, the skirt made it's rounds, starting with Ann's "Not in MY house" hand block. From Ann it found it's way to Heather for more of that woBig D. It then went to me for only a point (which was fitting since my hand block was more of a finger block) before Alex swiped it for...yep, you guessed it, yet another hand block. We're on a roll with the hand blocks this year! Alex ended up keeping the skirt for continued stellar play, and was voted the game's MVP. Carolyn earned runner-up honors by having a great game of her own.
