For those that missed it, we defeated Solid 15-8 despite heavy casualties to our women.

MVP of the week was Laura. With a hurt knee and a limp so bad we told her she couldn't play, she had to come in when Carolyn went down early in the game. And though she might shrug it off, it was clear she was in a ton of pain the entire time. Despite our urgings to take it easy, I never saw her slacking on defense, staying right on the other team's surprised women.

Honorable mention goes to Smalls, who was playing with a hurt left hand; though the other team probably never noticed as she was a huge part of our offense with amazing hands (or just hand? I never noticed either). She probably scored half of our points, but that's about normal. Also big props to Alicia for getting the only skirt D (handblock) and using the powers of the skirt to score the next 2 or three points.
