Passive Aggressive
15-10
loss
MVP: Ali

Excellent game!  I was delighted to receive word that we defeated Passive Aggressive.

Everyone played up to their abilities during this game.  It's so nice when it all comes together!  Mr. Feebs was spot-on when he pointed out that our women would be the key to winning this game.  Our men were more or less equally matched, so hail to our ladies for tearing it up!

The first half was close.  We got ahead, but then let them tie us at 6-6 before we took half 8-6.  We came out strong the second half and put up three or four points in a row.  After that we basically went one for one with them until it ended at 15-10.

Unfortunately I thought someone else ended up with the skirt at the end of our previous game, but alas it was with me, thus preventing anyone from physically wearing it this game; although I hear there were some skirt-worthy plays.  Curtis had a nice diving poach D, Adro had a deep D on Van Bergen, and Alex got a key handblock, to mention a few.

Even if a throw was less than par, the receivers were stepping up and making the catch.  Nik pulled off some fancy footwork to make an impressive layout catch on a bulleting blade.  Even though he didn't play a lot of points, Nik was back to his old, layout self, including one for a score.  Ali made a number of catches no matter where or how the disc was thrown, but got unlucky on one that tagged her in the neck.

We welcomed back Mrs. Feebs for this game.  Ann did an awesome job handling, having zero turnovers, despite claiming she hadn't touched a disc in a year.

Ali dished out some serious damage to the opponent, earning her MVP honors.  There was a tie between Curtis and Nik for runner-up MVP.
