The success continues!

It was a cold, windy, sleety day when we defeated Grass Monkeys 15-4 to advance to the semifinals.  Fortunately the sleet subsided shortly after the game started, although the wind picked up as the game went on.  We found ourselves trying to stall until the gusts died down for a moment just so we could pull past half field.

We nearly traded points for a while in the beginning, but after they put their third score on the board we started to pull away.   In the second half we didn't allow them to score even once.  They had an unusual tendency to start a delay of game count as soon as the disc came to a stop on the ground, not that it mattered to us since we were always on our way to pick it up anyway.  

At one point DOB threw an unbelievable fastball, upwind, line-drive hammer for a score.  Amazingly and uncharacteristically Alex and Aaron actually threw the disc TO each other despite the windy circumstances, as opposed to their norm of making it difficult even in perfect conditions.

Adro was voted MVP for updating the ORF website…errrrr…wait, scratch that.  The website remains to be updated, but Adro did in fact get voted MVP of the game.
