Great playing today! We played two games that were strikingly similar as far as score. Both games went to half 5-2; both games we lulled right after half to 5-4; both games we then turned on the juice and won 13-6.

We had some not-so-good points (infamous "hammer point" anyone?) but we also had some great intensity most of the time and some huge plays by everyone on the team. If we had filmed these games we could put together quite the highlight reel. Speaking of which, who's getting together the camera crew for next year?

And before I go any further, Alex bring the freakin' skirt next week!! We had lots of great skirt D's today.

MVP of the second game was Vanessa. She had countless D's this game where she seemingly came out of nowhere to smack the disc away with authority. Maybe she was hiding in the shadows or maybe she just turned on the boosters at the right time, but one thing was clear: she wanted the disc more and was going to have it. Runners-up were Alex and Chun hua. Alex played very well with his usual solid play on offense, defense, and special teams. Everything except for the skirt-bringing aspect of the game was near-flawless. Chun hua ran her defenders to the ground and most of the time looked like she wasn't covered at all.
