Huzzah
11-10
MVP: John Turner

Our game for third place against Huzzah was definitely more fun than our semifinal game (almost too much fun). The weather was the best it has ever been for the final game. We horsed around and had a good time, but nearly lost the game because of it. We scored the first three or four points, but then they tied it at 4-4. We figured at that point we might need to concentrate on the game a little more and we pulled away to make it 10-5. We must've felt confident in our lead, because more screwing around ensued.

Alex pulled the pants of one of our opponents down while he had the disc. Huzzah returned the favor by pulling Adro's pants down as he was handling. Stenseth, who was now inebriated from free keg beer, was announcing all of our flaws from the sideline on a miniature megaphone. John F. whipped out the southpaw hammer. Nik spent the majority of the game flirting with Erin from Sparkly rather than playing. Observers were heard saying that this was a game they'd rather watch than the championship.

Turner scored a Callahan after Adro nine-counted their captain, forcing an ill-advised throw. Sarah treated us to a messy muff dive. Curtis had a
layout D on a signature bullet hammer from Dan O'Brien, but then had to sit the rest of the game out due to abdominal pain that had been bothering him all day.

Turner received the honor of MVP, and Heather was the runner-up. John F. was voted ORF's first ever "MVP of the season". And to top it all off,
Carolyn presented some awesome homemade cake!
