Plaid
8-1
MVP: Curtis

I’m not sure what it is, but we seem to pretty much own Plaid. We defeated them in the semifinals last year 15-3 and this year in the quarterfinals 8-1. After a long first point (at least 6 turnovers by us, or 12-13 total turns), we scored a big upwinder to Smalls (just past deep Hubs) that set the tone of the game.  Plaid scored only one point, a downwind huck, in our first and only attempt to zone that direction.  MVP of the game was captain Curtis, who threw all four upwind scores.  This would later lead to overconfidence in trying to punch through upwind points the next two games, but it sure worked against Plaid. Rebecca also played some fantastic defense this game, racking up multiple d’s a point early on.  Alex also continued his streak of at least one Callahan per playoffs, starting 2003.
