ORF’s finest moment… the team’s first Fall League Championship. In bitter cold and windy conditions, it was a close game , each time trading points until we reached the score 5-5. ORF then implemented set lines optimized for the upwind points and the downwind. With this strategy and an upgraded confidence, ORF proceeded to rattle off 10 points in a row to finish the game 15-5. At one point, Alex Idelkope caught a Callahan thrown by Kristi Boesen, creating a rift between the two of them and strengthening the rivalry between the two teams. Nik won his second MVP of the year with hot defense and some sweet catches, skying over much taller opponents.
